Allmicroalgae Natural Products is the largest European microalgae producer using closed systems. The company annually produces several species of microalgae, namely, Chlorella vulgaris, Phaeodactylum tricornutum, Tetraselmis sp., Nannochloropsis sp. and Scenedesmus obliquus. As coordinator of the ALGAVALOR project, Allmicroalgae is involved in all work packages. The supply of biomass to the consortium partners is one of their main tasks, in order to allow the exploitation of its nutritional and bioactive properties. In addition, an optimization of the microalgae production process, its sustainability, and the approach to new production technologies are under development by Allmicroalgae in work package 4. The company is also in charge of leading the dissemination of the project, in order to valorize the results and products obtained and to ensure that this information arrives adequately and in a timely manner to final consumers and interested communities.
